Do not be deceived by the liberal spinmeisters; Tuesday's election was a referendum on (and a repudiation of)ObamaCare. It was an unmistakable message to Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid that it's finally time to give up the ghost… that it's time to stop defying the American people… that it's time to stop trying to shove ObamaCare down our throats.
Now, don't expect Obama, Pelosi, Reid and all the other far-left proponents of government-run health care to get the message right away. Don't expect them to simply admit defeat and move on.
Expect Defiance.
When asked, just prior to Tuesday's vote, how a Brown victory would affect the passage of so-called "health care reform,"Pelosi defiantly stated: "Let's remove all doubt; we will have health care - one way or another."
She's got some nerve... but don't take Pelosi's statement as an idle threat. Take it as a promise. These radical ideologues will try to pass ObamaCare by hook or by crook… the will of the American people be damned.
Already, there is talk of Pelosi ramming through a quickie-vote on the Senate version of ObamaCare in the House of Representatives, circumventing another vote in the Senate altogether. Already there is talk that Harry Reid will try to stall the seating of Senator-elect Brown to prohibit him from providing the crucial, nation-saving 41st vote in support of a filibuster of ObamaCare in the Senate. They'll have tricks up their sleeves.
But patriotic Americans have an ace-in-the-hole.

Tuesday's election clearly shows that the American people are angry… livid… outraged.

In essence, the people of one of the most liberal states in the country told Obama, Pelosi, Reid and all the other leftists pushing their ObamaCare poison; "Stop the lies… stop the secret back-room deals… stop the bribes and payoffs… we're not going to take it anymore."
One political observer called Tuesday's election, "the shot heard around the world."
Scott Brown prevailed in a state that Obama won by 26%. The people of Massachusetts elected him to a seat that was held by a Kennedy (or a Kennedy surrogate) for over half-a-century… since 1952 to be precise.
Now, the spinmeisters will try to give us a variety of reasons why Scott Brown won. They'll say anything… except for the truth. But there can be no doubt, Tuesday's vote was a repudiation of the sickening stench masquerading as "health care reform"... ObamaCare.
Brown even made it the centerpiece of his campaign: "I will vote against the health care bill because it is bad for Massachusetts and bad for the country. If you believe the health care bill has been mishandled, and that it will lead to more government, higher taxes and increased spending, then vote for me and I will stop it from becoming law."
But, even so, Barack Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi are not just playing deaf when it comes to this "shot heard around the world." They're effectively saying "so what"... they're continuing to ignore the will of the American people.
And when it comes to their capacity to defy the American people, House Minority Leader John Boehner has no illusions: "They are going to try every way, shape and form to shove this bill down the throats of the American people."
You've already heard Pelosi's petulant response to the pleas of the American people: "Let's remove all doubt; we will have health care - one way or another."
Not so fast, Madame Speaker. Fortunately for the American people, there are some past supporters of ObamaCare who see things a bit differently now, and they're not so sure they want to commit "political suicide" to advance your far-left political agenda anymore.
To put it in the words of political pundit Dick Morris: "Losing Massachusetts, on top of Virginia and New Jersey, will convince even the most loyal Democrat that the handwriting is, indeed, on the wall."
You better believe "the handwriting is on the wall." Case in point: Pelosi's fellow liberal, Congressman Anthony Weiner (one of the strongest supporters of ObamaCare in Congress), said that if Brown won: "I think you can make a pretty good argument that healthcare might be dead."
New York Times columnist David Brooks (the Left's favorite "conservative") wrote that trying to ram ObamaCare through after a Brown victory would be "political suicide."
Democrat Senator Evan Bayh used the word "catastrophe."
ABC News' Jonathan Karl quoting Bayh: "Even before the votes are counted, Senator Evan Bayh is warning fellow Democrats that ignoring the lessons of the Massachusetts Senate race will 'lead to even further catastrophe' for their party."
And even the liberal New York Times admits that; "It is unclear if rank-and-file Democrats would go along" with "House Democratic leaders..."
In short, leftists in Congress are divided… they're bloody and bruised.
Oh yes... they're awake... and now that they're awake, let's use this opportunity to make sure they smell the coffee as well.

Liberal voters in Massachusetts rejected ObamaCare for the same reason the rest of the nation rejects it: ObamaCare is a bloody, bloated, maggot-filled monstrosity.

The illusions that ObamaCare will reduce health care costs or improve the quality of health care are long-gone... crushed by the secrecy, the deal-making and the arm-twisting that occurred along the twisted road that Obama, Pelosi and Reid took while trying to sneak it past the American people.
After the "Cornhusker Compromise" and the "Louisiana Purchase" and the "Big Labor Pay Off," the American people now see ObamaCare for what it is; a monument to political corruption and, as radio personality Sean Hannity puts it, "European-style socialism."
The secret is out. We all know that ObamaCare is a legislative lard bucket, stuffed with political pork, payoffs and pandering to special interests.
We also know the devastation that's in ObamaCare: crippling debt for our children and grandchildren… health care rationing… long lines for live-saving or life-sustaining treatment… government bureaucrats making our health care decisions for us… higher taxes for less care.
ObamaCare will lead to massive government intrusions into our lives… financial burdens enforced by the IRS… unconstitutional mandates… doctor's offices that resemble the local Department of Motor Vehicles.
We must defeat ObamaCare before it kills us… our families… and our freedoms. We must put this sham that is "health care reform" out of its misery before it causes us misery.
Can we do it? "Yes, we can."
