In June 2007, Presidential candidate Barack Obama declares theUSA no longer a Christian nation.

In 1952 President Truman established one day a year as a National Day of Prayer.

In 1988, President Reagan designated the first Thursday in May of each year as the National Day of Prayer. 

This year however, President Obama, decided to cancel the ceremony at the White House not wanting to offend anyone.

On September 25, 2009 from 4am until 7pm , a National Day of Prayer for the Muslim religion will be held on Capitol Hill, beside the White House. As a Christian, it makes me really wonder where the REAL direction of this country is headed. 

Whether you didn't vote for the man or you did, as Christians I would surely hope that this would stir your spirit. They are expecting over 50,000 muslims that day in DC.

Perhaps all the things going on now in this country and around the world could be solved if we would heed this scripture.

I can't believe all you delusional liberals think this disaster was caused by the same things:
1. runaway greed ("market failure") on the part of lenders is the cause of the subprime crisis;
2. these same greedy lenders routinely ignore billions of dollars in potential profits in lower-income communities because of their systemic racism, stupidity, or both — hence the need for the CRA; (Community Reinvestment Act) and
3. No government agency, especially not the Fed, had anything to do with either the creation or bursting of the housing market bubble and the subprime crisis.
At least you were on to something when you brought up that lax mortgage underwriting and relaxed income standards as being a factor, but this is just a symptom, not the disease.
Did you ever wonder why the banks and brokers lowered their standards? I'm sure it never occurred to you to even ask that question.
The Community Reinvestment Act and other government fair lending laws such as the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act amended to force banks to collect racial data on mortgage applicants, required and encouraged lax lending standards that contributed to the later mortgage boom and bust.

This was the first time the Fed had ever taken this kind of action, and it had profound effects through the banking sector. It sent a strong signal to the banks that the Fed would closely scrutinize lending practice, limiting the ability of banks to grow or make acquisitions if they were found to have insufficient low income or minority lending. Banks immediately responded by lowering down payment requirements and using more flexible income criteria.

You have to ask yourself one question: Why would any bank lend money to people with poor credit histories and low incomes? Greed? Hardly. There was the carrot of Fannie and Freddie buying up the mortgages and the stick of the Justice Department prosecuting the banks for redlining. No greedy person I know would lend his money to bad credit risks! Private businesses acting on their own would never lend themselves into bankruptcy across an entire industry without government policy interfering.

The left states "More than 84 percent of the subprime mortgages in 2006 were issued by private lending institutions". Yes, but you have to realize, independent mortgage companies are middlemen who arrange mortgage loans for borrowers — including "subprime" borrowers — with banks, including CRA-regulated banks. The private institutions did make most of the sub-prime loans, but that was because (a) they were intimidated into doing so by the CRA and the politicians, and (b) Freddy Mac and Fanny Mae were waiting anxious to buy them from the private businesses as soon as they were made. And Banks lacking the equity capital needed to hold large volumes of these risky loans in their portfolios were glad to sell them to Fannie and Freddie, this gave them more capital to lend to the next guy, and so on. And lenders of all types couldn't originate and then sell these loans to investors (Wall Street) in the form of residential mortgage-backed securities, or RMBS—at least not without added protection against defaults.

This is where Fannie and Freddie comes in, These GSE (Government -sponsored enterprises) Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and the 12 federal home loan banks (FHLBs). Using information as of September 30, 2006 these 14 firms have total assets of $2.67 trillion; given their thin capital positions, their total liabilities are only a little smaller. Just two firms—Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac—account for $1.65 trillion of the assets, or 62 percent of all housing GSE assets. Moreover, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have guaranteed mortgage-backed securities outstanding of $2.82 trillion. Thus, the housing GSE liabilities on their balance sheets and guaranteed obligations off their balance sheets are about $4.47 trillion, which may be compared with U.S. government debt in the hands of the public of $4.83 trillion! It is estimated that 75 percent of outstanding first-lien residential mortgages are held by securitization trusts, and that two-thirds are in GSE MBS.
Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are the largest GSEs, with Ginnie Mae being smaller. These enterprises guarantee the loans and pool large groups of them into RMBS. They're then sold to investors, who receive a share of the payments on the underlying mortgages. Because the GSEs are federally chartered, investors perceive an implicit government guarantee of them. Having confidence in the ability of quantitative models to accurately measure nonprime default risk, a brisk market emerged for securities backed by nonprime loans.

Institutional investors were willing to lend to the government-sponsored mortgage companies cheaply—at rates only slightly above those on the Treasury's risk-free securities and well below those paid by other financial intermediaries—despite the risk of default that would normally attach to private firms holding such highly leveraged and poorly diversified portfolios. The investors were so willing only because they thought that the Treasury would repay them should Fannie or Freddie be unable. As it turns out, they were right. The Treasury did explicitly guarantee Fannie's and Freddie's debts when the two giants collapsed and were placed into conservatorship.
Congress was repeatedly warned by credible observers about the growing dangers posed by Fannie Mae's and Freddie Mac's implicit federal backing. A leading critic was William Poole, then president of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, who as far back as 2003 pointedly warned that the companies had insufficient capital to survive adverse conditions, and that the problem would continue to fester unless Congress explicitly removed the federal backing from the two companies so that they would face market discipline.12

So don't give me this crap about Phil Gramm and his Commodity Futures Modernization Act of 2000 as a source of all these recent problems. Credit Default Swaps would not have killed Lehman Brothers if all of its assets weren't toxic! That's the only thing you could even begin to blame the right for, and why hasn't it been repealed?
Or the repeal of the bipartisan Financial Services Modernization Act of 1999, also known as the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, That act opened the door for financial firms to diversify: a holding company that owns a commercial bank subsidiary may now also own insurance, mutual fund, and investment bank subsidiaries. Far from contributing to the recent turmoil, the greater freedom allowed by the 1999 act has been a blessing in containing the fallout. Without it, JPMorgan Chase could not have acquired Bear Stearns, nor could Bank of America have acquired Merrill Lynch—acquisitions that avoided losses to Bear's and Merrill's bondholders. (It is not the Act's fault that the Fed sweetened the Bear Stearns acquisition at taxpayer expense and forced Bank of America to acquire Merrill Lynch when the bank wanted to scotch the deal). Without it, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley could not have switched specialties to become bank holding companies when it became clear that they could no longer survive as investment banks.

Jimmy Carter is projecting his own racism onto opponents of ObamaCare. Upper-class Democrats have traditionally charged their enemies of racism in the post-war era to distract audiences from their own ghastly histories. Of course, it is easier for Big Media to pretend to read the hearts of multiracial working-class protesters from afar than admit that Carter's was no true friend of the civil rights movement.
I suggest we focus on the historical facts at hand:

Jimmy Carter's church (like Obama's) promoted racism. But whereas we rightly associate Obama's with anti-European and anti-Semitic sermons, Carter's fringe Baptist church family actually "canceled services rather than admit four blacks," according to an Associated Press Report, dated November 2, 1976 (in the Daily Capital News, Jefferson City, Mo.).


Jimmy Carter attended a church where race-obsessed deacons enforced a 1965 resolution to exclude "Negroes or other civil rights activists." For years, the peanut farmer attended an openly racist church. Today, though, he magically reads the hearts and minds of Obama's critics.

Jimmy Carter -- like Obama -- tried to downplay and hide his religious leaders' racism: "For several years, the Plains Baptist Church has admitted worshipers without discrimination. I will seek church action to continue worship opportunities and also offer membership to those who live in our community and who share our religious faith." Yet, Carter failed to explain (a) why blacks were being kicked out of his church in 1976 and (b) why he attended an institution with a racist resolution.

I could go on. In more recent times (for example) Carter -- like the Reverend Wright -- openly railed against Zionist Jews, not blood thirsty Islamists. The key word here is "projection." Obama certainly was (and probably still is) a Wright-wing extremist, but Carter is a seasoned hypocrite.

This is clearly part of an Obama Gun Attack Plan by somebody whose job might entail weighing in on the value of anti-gun regulations. It makes his personal assurances that he is a Second Amendment supporter completely disingenuous. The anti-gun Obama White House is hiding Sunstein's extreme view on gun control and will likely continue to inexplicably stand by him. Is this just another amateurish mistake by an immature White House that is yet to get weaned or part of the Anti-Gun agenda that Obama lied about during the campaign? ACORN is back at it again.

ACORN is back at it again.  Or more correctly, additional information on what ACORN has been up to all along has come to light.  You'll remember it was the ACU who was one of the first to raise alarms about ACORN. We produced videos, issued petitions and worked to spread the message about ACORN: voter fraud, mixing taxpayer funds with political activities and their direct ties to Barack Obama.   Now we have learned more.   As I am sure you have seen, ACORN within the last two weeks has been tied to illegal activities involving prostitution.    ACORN workers have also now finally been indicted for illegal voter activities... a pattern of activities we helped uncover last year.   NOW IT IS TIME FOR CONGRESS TO END ANY FUNDING, WHATSOEVER, FOR ACORN OR ANY ACORN RELATED SUBSIDIARY.    A back-door way for ACORN to receive funding is to funnel it through one of their related groups.  All ACORN entities must be disqualified.  The Senate has taken one step, but we must finish the job.   We must demand that Congress end funding for ALL ACORN related groups ... Obama to support abortion-on-demand not just as a "fundamental right" but as a taxpayer-funded entitlement

In July 2007, Barack Obama promised a group of his supporters that, if elected president, he would sign perhaps the most evil piece of legislation in the history of our republic.

It's called the "Freedom of Choice Act," or FOCA -- but don't let the Orwellian title fool you. It isn't about "freedom" or "choice" at all. It's about forcing each and every American citizen -- regardless of his or her view on abortion -- to support abortion-on- demand not just as a "fundamental right" but as a taxpayer-funded entitlement.

But the compulsion wouldn't stop there. Because FOCA would also run roughshod over the conscience rights of doctors, nurses, and hospitals that oppose abortion on religious or moral grounds -- forcing them to provide or counsel for abortion or face professional de-certification, loss of funding, lawsuits, and even prosecution.

Not only that, FOCA would immediately strike down any and all state restrictions on abortion -- even those with wide popular support, such as prohibitions on partial-birth abortion and parental notification requirements for minors seeking abortions.

Make no mistake: FOCA is the most radical piece of pro-abortion legislation ever proposed, one that would go far beyond Roe v. Wade in making abortion a government-protecte d and taxpayer-supported "right," through all nine months of pregnancy.

For better or worse, we have new Washington leadership and a new direction for America.

 It's a softer and relational Washington, with whom international bonds are more important than national borders and boundaries. It's a more secular Washington, which says that the country is no longer a "Christian nation." It's a more liberal Washington; it has enacted more left-leaning legislation in its first year than any previous administration. It's a more generous Washington, from whom handouts, bailouts and borrowing are granted and given at record-breaking political speed.

 But my greatest concern, I must confess, is that it's a kinder and gentler Washington, to whom the global war on terror has turned into an "overseas contingency operation." That kinder and gentler Washington begs the question, "Are we returning to a pre-9/11 mentality?" Pondering the answer prompts a pre-9/11 memory in which I fought that form of complacency via one of my television movies.

 In 2000, I had starred in a CBS movie of the week, called "The President's Man," which garnered high ratings for the network. I played Joshua McCord, the president's secret agent who masquerades as a university professor between assignments. Two years later, the network wanted another film with me playing the same character.

 During the time I was trying to come up with a story idea for the movie, my wife, Gena, and I had dinner in Dallas with our friends, one being a senator from Texas.

 I asked the senator what she thought was the greatest threat to America. "Terrorism," she replied straightforwardly. "Our greatest fear is someone like Osama bin Laden sneaking a nuclear weapon into our country." She explained that we had allowed our nation to become vulnerable to such an attack. "During the last eight years, under President Clinton's administration, our security measures and enforcement personnel have been drastically reduced," she said. "That concerns me."

 It concerned me, too, and I thought that I might be able to shed some light on the problem. After dinner, I called my brother, Aaron, and told him to get our scriptwriters to my house first thing in the morning. "I think I have the storyline for 'The President's Man,'" I told him.

 The story we developed involved a bin Laden-type terrorist who contacts the president of the United States and threatens to escalate terrorism all over the world unless his holy warriors, incarcerated for their involvement in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, are released. Of course, the president refuses to give in to his demands.

 In our story, a nuclear weapon is indeed sneaked into the United States. The president is threatened and told that the nuclear weapon will be detonated if the holy warriors are not released.

 That's when I come into the picture, as the president's main man. I sneak into Afghanistan, where the lead terrorist is hiding out. I kidnap him and bring him back to the United States for trial.

 That would be coincidental enough, but it's even more so considering the timing of the movie's release and the rest of the story!

 Interestingly, my conversation with the senator took place nine months before Sept. 11, 2001. I had finished my last episode of "Walker, Texas Ranger" in April of that year and then plunged right into working on the sequel to "The President's Man" in May. As we made the film, we thought we were creating a fictitious story; we shuddered at the possibility that something catastrophic would happen in our country.

 We delivered the finished movie print to CBS Sept. 6, 2001, just five days before that horrible day that none of us ever will forget. Ironically, when the print was delivered to CBS, the original title was "The President's Man: Ground Zero." After 9/11, we changed the title to "The President's Man: A Line in the Sand."

 As eerie as the juxtaposition of that script and that tragic event was, that was only a television movie. What our nation experienced was real-life. And the grief of those who still suffer from the loss of loved ones on 9/11 is still more real than life itself. May God continue to comfort them.

 Of course, questioning God's concern when tragedy happens is a normal human reaction and understandable passage of grief (just as I did when my brother Wieland was killed, in 1970 in the Vietnam War). I learned back then that it's OK to doubt the Almighty, but staying there is definitely a dead end.  Like many of you, I pray every day that nothing like 9/11 ever will happen again. But only if we are prepared and our country seeks God in genuine prayer will we prevail and possibly prevent another such tragedy.

 Mostly, for the sake of those who still bear the grief of that disastrous day eight years ago, I hope the present Democratic majority in Washington doesn't drop its guard on the global war on terror. Otherwise, someday my television movie tragically may have a prophetic consequence.

I really hopethe story about Swift will go away the girl here self has stated that she can't sing country so she made up her own country. What other singer has been able to do that from the start all swift is ia bubble gun pop. Look at her song list  its not country  listin to her music it would make Hank Williams, Eddie Rabbit, and Johhny Cashes ears bleed. This girl aint country. I would rather make out with Natile Maines of the Dixie Chicks than listin to one song by taylor swift.

Joe Wilson was Right

"I extend sincere apologies to the president."  We commend Wilson for his quick humility.  But questions remain:   Did Obama tell lies during the speech?  Was Wilson right after all?  And why doesn't Obama apologize just as quickly for calling conservatives liars?  In their fact-checking, the press confirmed FIVE WHOPPERS told by the President himself:   OBAMA LIE #1: "No federal dollars will be used to fund abortions."   THE TRUTH:  The Capps Amendment to HR 3200 has a Section 4B that reads: "Abortions for Which Public Funding Is Allowed. -- The services described in this subparagraph are abortions for which the expenditure of Federal funds appropriated for the Department of Health and Human Services is permitted."  The Washington Times reported:  "You can't get more explicit than that."  And FactCheck.org exposed Obama's lie too:  "Despite what Obama said, the House bill would allow abortions to be covered by a federal plan and by federally subsidized private plans."  So President Obama lied, plain and simple.   OBAMA LIE #2: "I will not sign a plan that adds one dime to our deficits either now or in the future. Period."     THE TRUTH:  The Democrat controlled Congressional Budget Office said Obamacare would add $220 billion to the deficit over 10 years, but will not succeed at shrinking the overall costs of our nation's health care.  Republicans claim it's more like $600 billion increased deficit spending.  (Confirmed by Associated Press, 9 Sep 09.)  Either way, Obama lied.     OBAMA LIE #3: "Don't pay attention to those scary stories about how your benefits will be cut...That will never happen on my watch. I will protect Medicare."     THE TRUTH:  The Washington Post reports Obama proposes "to squeeze more than $500 billion out of the growth of Medicare over the next decade....[which has] fueled fears that his effort to expand coverage to millions of younger, uninsured Americans will damage elder care. As a result, barely one-third of seniors support a health-care overhaul, several polls found." THE TRUTH:  Whether working or not, rich or poor, you will be ordered to get mandatory government-run health-care coverage, or pay a fine a $3800 fine per family, under the new Senate plan being railroaded through the finance committee by Max Baucus (D-MT).  (New York Times, 9 Sep 09).  Obama pretends you're "able" to get coverage, when he knows it's mandatory (with a big tax increase or "fine" penalty).  Obama lied.  But the biggest of all...   OBAMA LIE #5:  "The claim, made not just by radio and cable talk show hosts, but prominent politicians, that we plan to set up panels of bureaucrats with the power to kill off senior citizens, such a charge would be laughable if it weren't so cynical and irresponsible. It is a lie, plain and simple."     THE TRUTH:  Mandatory "end of life" counseling in HR 3200 "shall" include counseling every 5 years to the elderly, giving doctors a monetary incentive to persuade you to sign a "do not resuscitate" (DNR) order to pull the plug on Grandma, just like the Obama administration already pressures all Veterans to sign them.  (Confirmed by the Washington Post and Wall Street Journal, read extensive details at PrayInJesusName.org.)  And under the British NHS government-run health plan, "Patients with terminal illnesses are being made to die prematurely under an NHS scheme to help end their lives, leading doctors have warned."  (The Daily Telegraph, 2 Sep 09).  Dr. Ewing Cook just admitted intentionally killing patients who signed DNR authorizations during Hurricane Katrina.  "I gave her medicine so I could get rid of her faster…there's no question I hastened her demise."  Bottom line: Grandma, don't sign Obama's DNR order, even if your doctor gets a bonus check from the President for talking you into that.    Obama lied at least five times during his speech.  Congressman Wilson was right after all.   ABC NEWS VIDEO:  John Stossel destroys Obamacare by explaining Socialism. OBAMA ACCUSES HIMSELF AND FELLOW DEMOCRATS OF LYING   Last month Obama held a conference call with reportedly 140,000 members of the "religious left" and accused himself of lying, saying that anybody who claims his health care plan funds abortion violates Exodus 20:16, "thou shalt not bear false witness."  But Obama knows his fellow Democrats supported the Capps Amendment to HR 3200 funding abortions through an accounting-scheme, and defeated pro-life amendments prohibiting abortion funding. On July 17, 2007, Obama himself told Planned Parenthood, "in my mind, reproductive care [abortion] is at the center and at the heart of the plan that I propose. [My] plan…will provide…reproductive services [abortion]."  It now appears Obama is calling himself a liar, since he personally believes his own plan must contain funding for abortion. The Capps Amendment has a Section 4B that reads: "Abortions for Which Public Funding Is Allowed. -- The services described in this subparagraph are abortions for which the expenditure of Federal funds appropriated for the Department of Health and Human Services is permitted..." As the Washington Times analysis says, "You can't get more explicit than that."  But Obama calls a liar anybody who reads the bill aloud, verbatim. Obama further accused as "bearing false witness" anyone who claims his plan will result in "death panels" that ration care to the young at the expense of the elderly.  That must first include his own Democrat White House Health Policy Advisor, Ezekiel Emanuel.     In an article entitled "Deadly Doctors," The New York Post just confirmed from Democrat Emanuel's own writings, the White House plan prefers "communitarianism" which should guide decisions on who gets care. Emanuel says medical care should be reserved for the non-disabled, not given to those "who are irreversibly prevented from being or becoming participating citizens . . . An obvious example is not guaranteeing health services to patients with dementia" (JAMA, Feb. 27, 2008).  NY Post's translation: "Don't give much care to a grandmother with Parkinson's or a child with cerebral palsy."  Grandma's memory slipping?  Obama's Death Panel convenes to de-fund her care.  Emanuel said so, read his quote again, confirming Sarah Palin and Newt Gingrich were right after all. Emanuel explicitly defends discrimination against older patients: "Unlike allocation by sex or race, allocation by age is not invidious discrimination; every person lives through different life stages rather than being a single age. Even if 25-year-olds receive priority over 65-year-olds, everyone who is 65 years now was previously 25 years" (Lancet, Jan. 31).   EXCUSE ME?  Obamacare funds 25 year olds, but excludes 65 year olds? RATIONING, DEATH PANELS, SMOKING GUN.  Don't accuse conservatives of bearing false witness, Mr. Obama, until you first accuse your own Health Policy Advisor.   This quote is direct proof that Obama's COMMUNITARIANISM (like Socialism only bigger, on steroids, like Communism), favors treating the young at the expense of the old.   CLICK HERE TO SIGN PETITION, AND WE WILL FAX ALL 52 "BLUE-DOG" DEMOCRATS IN THE HOUSE, AND ALL 100 SENATORS, TO OPPOSE OBAMACARE. 1) More Proof EUTHANASIA is pushed by Obama's socialist government "health" care.   President Obama had been confronted by a North Carolina woman asking if "everyone that's Medicare age will be visited and told they have to decide how they wish to die."  In response Obama joked morbidly about euthanasia, that he hadn't yet hired enough bureaucrats to conduct such an operation, yet he could not deny the New York Post's discovery the House bill "compels seniors to submit to a counseling session every five years (and more often if they become sick or go into a nursing home) about alternatives for end-of-life care" (pages 425-430).  In other words, your grandmother will be told, when insufficient resources are rationed to young people, that her duty to die begins with mandatory "end-of-life counseling," or as Obama explained, "encourage the use of living wills" that terminate otherwise salvageable lives prematurely through signed "do not resuscitate" (DNR) legal releases that authorize "pulling the plug" on Grandma.   The White House made a quick video to refute claims of euthanasia in the health care bill, but interestingly they deleted Obama's quote about living wills, and AARP sent emails claiming rumors about euthanasia in the bill were generated by conspiracy theorists.  But then a respected bioethicist wrote a scathing editorial in the Washington Post, confirming that euthanasia is initiated by the government in the bill.  Lane writes:   "Consultations envisioned in Section 1233 aren't quite 'purely voluntary.'  To me, 'purely voluntary' means 'not unless the patient requests one.' Section 1233, however, lets doctors initiate the chat and gives them an incentive -- money -- to do so. Indeed, that's an incentive to insist.  Patients may refuse without penalty, but many will bow to white-coated authority. Once they're in the meeting, the bill does permit 'formulation' of a plug-pulling order right then and there."     Lane agrees the legislation mandates the doctor 'shall' discuss living wills and durable powers of attorney, and their uses:  "Section 1233 goes beyond facilitating doctor input to preferring it. Bankrupt state can't afford to pay for grandma's hip replacement?  Obama's plan turns her doctor into a lawyer, paid by Uncle Sam to persuade her to sign a DNR, explaining her hastened duty to die, and obtaining her signature legally absolving him of all guilt.   Lane says he personally has a living will, but doctors shouldn't be paid extra by the government to push them on seniors.  Euthanasia begins when socialism replaces capitalism. AARP LYING TO SENIORS TO PROFIT FROM OBAMACARE? The seniors advocacy group AARP defended Obamacare, stating in emails to seniors:  "FACT #3: There is no provision of any piece of legislation that would promote euthanasia of any kind. The rumors out there are flat out lies...It is not mandatory and it has nothing to do with euthanasia."  But since the House bill includes the legal term "shall," the Dean of Liberty University School of Law Mat Staver disagrees.  "I just went back and re-read the bill. The end-of-life counseling is mandatory and there is a 5 year requirement that it must occur every 5 years. The bill is on our website and people can read it for themselves. It is not new that AARP favors killing their own members. They...do not have the best interests of their members in mind."   Attorney Matt Barber of Liberty Counsel had stronger words.  "AARP is lying. See pages 424, 425 and 426 of HR 3200. The government 'consultation' that seniors 'shall' get if they have 'not had such a consultation within the last 5 years' is clearly designed to encourage them to get out of the way and to just go ahead and die already."   Widely respected Minister Rick Joyner wrote, after reviewing Mat Staver's detailed analysis of H.R. 3200 "Health" care bill, voicing his strong opinion that this bill "is about euthanasia, the power to determine who lives or dies in America. Hitler and Stalin would have loved to have had a means such as this for dispatching the millions they killed—it would have made their job much easier, and probably given them the ability to kill many more than they did. CLICK HERE TO SIGN PETITION, AND WE WILL FAX ALL 52 "BLUE-DOG" DEMOCRATS IN THE HOUSE, AND ALL 100 SENATORS, TO OPPOSE OBAMACARE. 2) Tax-payer funded ABORTION on demand is another guaranteed result.   Last week several so-called "pro-life Democrats" executed a bait and switch that will fully fund abortion on demand in the new Obamacare "health" bill.  Led by compromiser and ex-pro-life Congressman Tim Ryan (D-OH), who was recently booted as an advisor to Democrats for Life of America for his lack of principle, the liberal House Democrats  overruled conservative Republicans 30-28 to pass the hideous "Capps Amendment" to H.R.3200 in the Energy and Commerce Committee.  This amendment now deceptively creates a phony accounting scheme that gives the false impression your tax-payer dollars will not subsidize abortion, while it simultaneously nationalizes free abortions for low-income urban neighborhoods, fulfilling the dream of Margaret Sanger (and her protege Ruth Bader Ginsburg) that African American babies will be the first exterminated in the government funded ovens that weed out "Populations that we don't want to have too many of."  Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ) explained the Capps Amendment: "It's one of the most deceptive amendments I have ever seen.  The bottom line is that money is fungible, and the plan itself will be subsidizing abortion-on-demand, with taxpayer funding commingled, and the numbers of abortions will go up significantly."   CLICK HERE TO SIGN PETITION, AND WE WILL FAX ALL 52 "BLUE-DOG" DEMOCRATS IN THE HOUSE, AND ALL 100 SENATORS, TO OPPOSE OBAMACARE. 3) Obama will REMOVE Christian prayers and symbols from Government-run hospitals The hostile socialist government takeover of Catholic or Christian hospitals will eventually result in atheistic silencing of religious expression (and removing all Christian symbols) from the very place where faith in God is critical to sick and dying patients.  For example, look at the Veterans Hospitals, already government-run, who are busy removing crosses and Christian symbols from their chapels (like in Iowa), because easily-offended atheist complainers have successfully intimidated hospital administrators with threats of lawsuit, by demanding separation of church and state.  Just imagine more atheist lawsuits, when all Catholic and Christian hospitals are seized in the same way Obama took control of General Motors, inviting easily-offended atheist complainers to demand we change the name of the hospital from "St. Luke's Memorial" to the "Obama Government" hospital,  falsely claiming tax-dollars cannot subsidize religion.  But if St. Luke's refuses government subsidies, they will be drummed out of business, and Christian doctors' licenses revoked. Can a government-run hospital still allow Christian chapels, or pay Christian chaplains, or permit Christian doctors to pray Christian prayers with their willing patients, or even allow Christian parents to control the health care options forced upon their dying children?  Just ask Florida Hospital Chaplain Danny Harvey, fired last year from Leesburg Regional Medical Center because he prayed "in Jesus name" at a public memorial service.   Ask Christian Pharmacists who Washington has already forced to dispense "Plan-B" abortion pills against their conscience, or doctors denied a "conscience clause" to opt out of abortions when Obama refused to renew Bush's pro-life executive orders.  Ask Nurse Catherina Lorena Cenzon-DeCarlo, who recently was forced to participate in a second-trimester abortion against her will, and is now suing Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan for "blatantly" violating her rights under a 35 year old federal law that protects health care workers with religious objections from being forced to assist in murderous abortions.  Ask Pentecostal Ministers Dale and Leilani Neumann, who were charged with second-degree murder of their 11-year-old daughter, because they refused to trust the power of a government hospital to heal their little girl who tragically died with diabetes.  Can you say mandatory godlessness in "health" care?  If government has power to dictate your health care options, they also have power to seize your children when you refuse.
