I worked for a large successful financial institution in Chicago that was around for 100 yrs. The company was so successful; it put in extra unneeded layers of middle management - women and negroes. The white men who built and sold the products, all professionals from companies like IBM, and most with MBAs, were forced to attend diversity classes and sensitivity classes.
The audience was all white men in brooks brothers suits and power ties. The teacher was a mulato woman with questionable vocabulary. She was going to educate us. The first question asked of her was "If I have a small business with limited resources, and I need to be successful, why should I hire a minority instead of a qualified white person". Silence. She looked at us like she was slapped in the face by a mackerel. From that point forward, she was downsized and we went to reading papers or writing business letters while she droned on.
Over a few yrs the company was flooded w/ women and minorities (diversity is our strength, don't you know) put in positions of authority. Unfortunately just about all were unqualified. Not only did this make the rank and file angry because they were much more qualified, but the decisions made by the affirmative action crowd were poor and we lost clients and money. The company was ultimately shuttered
My point - these baggage affirmative people could only be supported by a successful company. They bred, hiring their fellow minorities until the company could not support all the dead weight and collapsed. I see our country as this company. Where could an unqualified black man become president? In < 100 days we see him squandering US prestige in Europe and Latin America, dissing the US wherever he goes, and apologizing to the world for the US. To make matters worse, the never married (can you say lesbian man hater) Nepalitano put out a memo stating white Christians, white antit-abortionists, whites who want to protect our borders, and returning United States Military personnel are all potential terrorists. She forgot to mention any real terrorists. Next, at Georgetown Obama gave a speech but demanded all references to Jesus (this is a Catholic university) be covered. Basically he has shown anger to all of our heritiage, institutiuons, and culture.
Obama's unprecented spending plan will give rebates to those that don't pay taxes (welfare by another name). He has altered signed mortgage contracts (can you say legal docs, the foundation of our country) to allow minorities to pay less while white taxpayers compensate. He's dismantling the economic engine that built this country while putting us in unsustainable debt for generations. Then they call the 300,000 concerned citizens at the Tea Parties - "Angry rich republicans". This is maddness.
I have yet to discover what Obama and his far left appointees actually like about this country. Next month he is coming out with a plan to reward the 20MM illegals with citizenship (meaning more democratic votes). His' buddying up with Chavez (socialist dictator for life) and the Castro bros (socialist dictators for life) might be a clue to all of you where he is taking this once great country.
I wonder how long it will be before the hard working middle class and business owners, the ones on whose backs these plans will be funded, will rise up. When they do, life in this country will change.
Our country is on the operating table and major surgery is being conducted. Unfortunately if this proceeds the patient will soon flat line.
