My Friend,

In an incredibly short period of time, Barack Obama and the Democrat-controlled Congress have increased domestic spending by more than 80%. As we amass trillions of dollars of government debt - a projected $9 trillion in the next ten years - we are becoming a nation more and more beholden to foreign governments - including China - who buy our debt and will gain more power each year to influence our economic decision-making.

In taking these actions and disguising their left-leaning agenda as much-needed "stimulus" to our nation's economy, President Obama and his team have made our economy vulnerable to foreign leverage, dealt a giant blow to our country's free enterprise system and saddled America with a massive multi-trillion dollar debt that will take generations to pay off.

Simply put, they have mortgaged our children's future and we must stop them. We need your help to do it.

That is why Country First has launched our first Future of America's Economy Survey and why I urge you to complete it immediately by following this link.

Your survey answers, when combined with others from all across the country, will give us the ammunition we need to show that the majority of Americans disapprove of the direction Democrats are taking America. Unfortunately, the Democrats' "change" comes with a giant price tag. The American people are beginning to see just how much the Obama agenda is going to cost each and every one of us.

We are conducting this survey at this critical time of rising taxpayer anger in America because voters are clearly frustrated with a government that is on an endless spending spree - and whose leaders are turning a deaf ear to their most important concerns.

It is important for you and other citizens to go on record to remind our leaders that there are ways to take on today's tough economic challenges without destroying our nation's founding principles. That is why I urge you to complete this survey today.

Country First will work to advance your economic interests, not those of the left-leaning special interests. With your help we will strengthen our Party, better define our Republican ideals and message, recruit and back strong, dedicated candidates - and build a national grassroots campaign of education and action that will make sure that you and other citizens have a voice in setting forth a responsible economic policy that will prove beneficial - not destructive - to America's future. But to succeed we need your immediate input and support.

So please complete the Future of America's Economy Survey right away by following this link.

Finally, as we Republicans confront the Democrats on Capitol Hill, in statehouses across America, and out on the campaign trail, your answers to this survey will ensure that we are speaking for you.

The Democrats are planning to push through as many of their destructive economic policies as they can before the 2010 elections. That is why we must act now. Please take the time to share your opinions today.

Sincerely,

John McCain
Chairman, Country First PAC

P.S. President Obama and the Democrats in Congress are pursuing economic policies that will prove disastrous to our nation in the coming years. We must stop them. It is crucial that you fill out the Future of America's Economy Survey today. Thank you.
